Where the vendors gave only wording (in the coming days, this fall) this page copies it without converting; fields the vendors have not written stay blank.

Four calendar lines that get misread
«Not sooner than» is not a shutdown date
Every retirement entry in Anthropic's table reads «Not sooner than»: it promises only that nothing happens before that day, not that it happens on it. Treating 2026-10-15 as Haiku 4.5's switch-off date is reading a sentence that does not exist.
DevDay did not add a deprecation notice
The newest notice on OpenAI's deprecations page is the 2026-09-11 entry for GPT-5.4-Cyber. Releasing gpt-6.1-sol did not put the older GPT-6 trio on the shutdown list, so the claim that DevDay starts their retirement has no official basis right now.
Eight Exchanges cities, no dates
The official DevDay page writes «Later this year, we're bringing DevDay Exchanges into Bengaluru, Tokyo, Seoul, Paris, Berlin, London, São Paulo, and Mexico City» — the cities are named, per-city dates and ticket prices are not, so this page lists cities and schedules none.
The replacement column is the vendor's own choice, not ours
In the 2026-10-23 rows OpenAI fills the right-hand column itself: gpt-5.6-sol, gpt-5.6-terra, gpt-5.6-luna, gpt-image-2.5-sunburst or gpt-image-2.5-flare. This page copies that column and does not recommend which one fits your workload. Within it the three gpt-5.6 tiers are available on QCode, with site usage of 104,928, 82,950 and 68,710 over 30 days, while the two image entries sit in the price table with 0 calls — so the promise covers the three tiers, not the image models.
Why this page only carries these rows
A calendar page is only worth as much as its credibility: one official sentence per row. So we accept three kinds of item — a published date, a published time wording, and a published «not sooner than» floor. Two kinds we do not schedule: an outlet's «expected» and a founder's one-line post. Those are leads, not dates to plan a release around.
2026-10-23: OpenAI shuts down a batch of older models
Re-checked on 2026-09-30, OpenAI's deprecations page still carries 17 rows dated 2026-10-23, 6 of them fine-tuned ft- entries, each with a replacement: gpt-4o-2024-05-13, the gpt-4 and gpt-4-turbo rows, o1 and o3-mini all point to gpt-5.6-sol, gpt-4.1-nano points to gpt-5.6-luna, o4-mini and gpt-3.5-turbo point to gpt-5.6-terra, and gpt-image-1 points to gpt-image-2.5-sunburst or gpt-image-2.5-flare. The newest retirement notice on the same page still stops at 2026-09-11; DevDay added none.
The next 45 days
The day written in the Codex documentation from OpenAI: «On October 14, 2026, GPT-5.5 will retire from ChatGPT, ChatGPT Work, and Codex», followed by «This retirement does not apply to the OpenAI API.» QCode routes to the API, so this entry is not an action item for calls made here; the site can answer for one thing: gpt-5.5 is in the price table with 27,614 calls over the last 30 days.
The retirement floor written for claude-haiku-4-5-20251001 in Anthropic's deprecations table is 2026-10-15. That model is still Active and available on QCode today; the entry says the vendor will not consider retiring it sooner than that day, not that it stops on that day.

Confirmed: the 2026-09-29 DevDay and the gpt-6.1-sol release; from that day gpt-6.1-sol is open on the API, ChatGPT Work and Codex, and the vendor states it is not in Chat. On 2026-10-14 GPT-5.5 retires from ChatGPT, ChatGPT Work and Codex, with the official sentence «This retirement does not apply to the OpenAI API.» On 2026-10-23 the OpenAI shutdown list covers a batch of older models (list above). Anthropic's deprecations table writes «Not sooner than October 15, 2026» for claude-haiku-4-5-20251001 — a floor, not a stop day; the same column gives no sooner than 2027-09-22 for Claude Opus 5.5 and 2027-06-30 for Sonnet 5.
Unverified and unpublished (no rumours)
Checked on 2026-09-30: where a vendor wrote no date, this page does not invent one. Claude Haiku 5.5 has two «coming weeks» sentences and no date, price or model id. Ultrafast for GPT-6.1 Sol and the Decisions API say «in the coming days»; collaborative slides «in the coming weeks»; the Private Inference preview «this fall»; the eight DevDay Exchanges cities carry no date or ticket price. As for the next DeepSeek, Gemini or Grok release, there is no official sentence to quote — only outlet reporting and founder posts, which stay in «unverified» and off the calendar.
The two vendors date things differently
Anthropic: floors plus «coming weeks»
The deprecations table gives a «Not sooner than …» floor per row (2026-10-15 for Haiku 4.5, 2027-06-30 for Sonnet 5, 2027-09-22 for Opus 5.5), while upcoming models get only «in the coming weeks». No sentence anywhere gives an exact release date.
OpenAI: dates sit in the table
OpenAI's page gives concrete shutdown dates — the whole batch on 2026-10-23 — with the replacement model id in the next column. For new capability it still hedges: Ultrafast and the Decisions API «in the coming days», Private Inference «this fall».
How to use this table
Only two kinds of dates touch code: the 2026-10-23 shutdown list (requests that still name gpt-4o, gpt-4-turbo, o1, o3-mini, o4-mini or gpt-image-1 have to migrate) and Anthropic's «not sooner than» floors (the Haiku 4.5 entry reads 2026-10-15). What is certain to happen in October?
Three things carry an official date: GPT-5.5 retires from ChatGPT, ChatGPT Work and Codex on 2026-10-14 (the official sentence states this does not apply to the OpenAI API), 2026-10-15 is the «not sooner than» floor on Anthropic's Haiku 4.5 entry, and 2026-10-23 is OpenAI's shutdown list for older models. Beyond these three, October has no release day confirmed by either vendor.
Will Haiku 4.5 stop on October 15?
OpenAI — no: Anthropic does not say that. The row reads «Not sooner than October 15, 2026» and the status column still says Active. As of 2026-09-30 claude-haiku-4-5-20251001 is callable on QCode. If it changes, the same table will carry the change.
When exactly does Haiku 5.5 come out?
No date was published, so there is no answer to quote. Anthropic wrote «in the coming weeks» twice (2026-09-22 and 2026-09-28) and published neither a price, a context window nor a model id. The page keeps it in the «in the coming weeks» row rather than inventing a date.
Does OpenAI's shutdown list affect my QCode requests?
